Originally fake

With the Chanel logo's edible version still on the screen from the previous post, here's an interesting follow-up:A top featuring Chanel's CCs, shouting FAKE. Fake Chanel it may be, but it's an original...something. So would it be safe to get the message 'if you can't have the original wear an obvious fake'? Then again, why on earth can't you have an original Chanel if you can afford this**? Interesting confusion going on, just wanted to share.

**judging from the usual price range of the store, this original-Chanel-fake must cost something close to... an original-Chanel-original.

I didn't have a birthday cake. If I did though, it would look like this, created ideally by the hands of someone like Jenny. (hope it's thick chocolate fudge inside)

Thought on the cake: I wouldn't walk around in Chanel total looks but in this case, I wouldn't mind eating them.

With the dates of the next fashion weeks announced, thought I might sizzle the mood. Shots and clip are from Evangelos Kavathas A/W 10 show last March, and since Autumn/Winter 10 is now, so now is this collection.

I see Jeremy Irons

So it's the beginning of last week, you are walking down Ermou Street, Athens and you are thinking "crickey, those post-holiday blues, I am having visions of sandy beaches, gigantic cocktails and Jeremy Irons".

Dunno where you got the first two from, the reason you saw Jeremy Irons though is because ...it was Jeremy Irons.

Apparently the Brit actor spent quite some time inside Shop (Ermou 112A), browsing the store and shopping goods from its lifestyle department. Turns out he visits Athens often and when in town, this is a 'Shop' he likes (sic):
Sadly, no snaps of staff and star as the first proved out honest and discreet as they should be (damn).

Another collaboration for H&M, the usual buzz going on. "I think that I loved the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public..." says Alber Elbaz. Err...

Good to my jeans

Back in the city and if jeans could walk, mine would be shaking their tail behind the door whilst I turned the key. With calendar featuring 'September' and tonight's breeze, it seemed right to take them for a walk. Jeans on - I must be back in the city then.

Excuse the recent absence, work had the best of me the minute I stepped back on mainland. Hope you all had an exciting Summer. Hello Autumn;)
