A three day exhibition/bazaar by the most interesting mix of Athens based designers. Affordable prices, fashion clothing jewellery and art, at a beautiful loft, till late (12:00-22:00).

Holy Mustache Birthday Bazaar

Holy Mustache and Stella Veentaz are planning a 'One Year Birthday Celebration' in Thessaloniki, from Thursday 19/1 till Sunday 22/1. They promise a four-day bazaar of rare and affordable treasures 'for your pleasure and collection'. It will all take place at Ladoze / Toss Gallery, 1 Vilara str. May I note that vintage clothes are about the label and country of manufacturing and not just the looks. How many 'made in Greece / France / U.S.A.' have you seen lately?

la.trap farewell bazaar

la.trap is changing. The Berlin aesthetics boutique that first opened in November 2010 by Psarokokalo & Evrydiki will soon relocate in two new spaces. But first, it's bazaar-time: a farewell clearance is scheduled for this coming Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th, for the last time at Trivonianou 56, Mets.

For the past few months, la.trap had a special place in Athens' responsible shoppers' heart for its carefully selected hand-made, well-made, choice of merchandise. Clothes, jewellery, dolls for kids but adults too, home decor and needlework among others as well as the philosophy of supporting young designers, small productions and eco friendly products.

I've saved most of its eflyers as they made my day being simple, happy and creative. Here's a retrospective, starting with the latest and quite possibly the last for it's current address:

Georgina Skalidi recycles fashion

For the week between tomorrow, March 18th and Saturday, March 26th, accessories designer Georgina Skalidi is hosting a second-hand bazaar at her new space in Kolonaki. 'Let's Recycle Fashion!' is the brief shout out that came along with the announcement. Whether 'eco' translates to ecological or economical to you, this event applies to both.

Used to belong to famous people

But could soon be yours. Sakis Rouvas, Elena Paparizou, Anna Vissi, Antonis Remos and Giorgos Mazonakis are all donating personal items to be auctioned for raising funds for 'The Smile of The Child' children's charity.

A very tempting release mentions brands like Miss Sixty, Diesel, Energie, Seven7, and more from 5 to 30 euros, as well as Converse, Replay, FollieFollie all the way to DKNY, Missoni and Dsquared that used to belong to famous people. Well-known athlethes have signed all kinds of merchandise for the occasion too.

To top it all up, two items from Beyonce's own brand 'House of Dereon', featured in her latest tour, will also be part of the auction.

Coffee and shopping by the sea is guilt-free this weekend (12&13/02), at Balux Cafe House Project in Glyfada.

Rere Papa 'change of address' sale

Rere Papa boutique, currently at Skoufa 62, Athens, is soon to relocate. New address is yet to be announced, however a super sale to mark this change is on as of today. Price range: between 10 and 120 euros, till January the 12th.

Greek eshops are on fire these days. Setting the prices on fire might be more accurate. Here are three spots I most recently visited, with amazing discounts and great variety:

Just the pair I was looking for

Went to a private bazaar the other day and scored a very pretty pair of earrings by Los Angelinos. I've been looking for quite a while for an interesting black pair but they all seemed too dark/heavy/busy. It must be the little pearls and light fabric on this one that do it so nicely. Otherwise, I was meant to be Christmas shopping for others. Why can't it be simple for once?! Three days to Christmas.
