Amy Winehouse at EJEKT 2011

It was announced by organiser Detox yesterday, confirmed on her official page and must have reached you by now: Amy Winehouse will be the headliner at this years EJEKT festival in Athens.

Teaser poster features an extra stylish her, dressed in clothes she recently designed for the iconic casual fashion brand Fred Perry. With EJEKT taking place on June 22nd, I wonder what she's going to look like on stage. Own designs or not, looking forward to listening to this voice live.

DElight pop-up boutique at six d.o.g.s

Last minute shoppers prepare for this. DElight are serving dessert right after the Christmas feast, at a pop-up boutique inside six d.o.g.s. On the menu, their a/w 10-11 collection as well as certain pieces from past seasons at yummy prices, archive material, lookbooks on display, sketches and video projections.

I see Barbarigos everywhere

The past few days, I've come across Vassilis Barbarigos' name (even him in person) more than any other designer. I consider it a sign so I'll share:

Icing on the cake, Barbarigos' a/w 11 collection lookbook hitting me on the side column of my FB feed today. (Cool shoot and sexy, smart clothes actually)
Something tells me it's gonna be more signs coming my way soon.

Dimitri Zafiriou a/w 10

Parts of Dimitri Zafriou's a/w 10 lookbook.
It's a capsule women's collection based on silk satin worked on both sides, silk georgette and tulle, boucle wool and knits. Colours: black, white, deep blue, grey and silver. Silver chain accessories were used too as well as button shaped hats.

Strigles a/w10

At times when 'made in' tags and 'care directions' labels are totally on the spotlight in many ways, Strigles accessories' designer Christina Aggelopoulou chose to use them as the core material for parts of her collection. The result? So cute!
Some extra info: Christina insisted her production is made of locally produced tags. Thumbs up for the thought.

Psyched shade of cement

This is 'Sew Psyched' nail lacquer from essie's Autumn/Winter 10 palette and it's a winner. I'm on a mission to make my nails turn this mouse-y grey, especially after seeing it on the feet of some model at London's recent Fashion Week. 'Cement' someone important messaged me upon sight. Well, 'psyched' or 'cement', right now it looks sweet.

Benetton & Sisley a/w 10, Tonight

After the preview of Benetton and Sisley's a/w 10 collections a couple of months ago, I only gave you a couple of clues of what they'd be like when in stores (images re-posted below). Now it's no longer bikini time and they are out for you to touch and feel.
Particularly tonight, and as part of Fashion's Night Out under the wing of Vogue, you can benefit from a 10% at Skoufa str. stores (#20 and #17 respectively) and between the hours of 18:00 and 21:00.

You can browse through the collections enjoying Italian delicacies (oh, the Italians -good hosts) and for purchases exceeding 100 euros you can have Fashion's Night Out tee for free.

Extra bonus, Life in Athens, Las Ninas and Los Ninos and The Soho Symposium will be there for chatting and sharing their favourite picks. Rumour has it that the music band Vegas will drop by too.

Estee Lauder vs Pink Ribbon vs Dukas - new bracelet out

Dukas Hatzidoukas has collaborated yet for another season with cosmetics giant Estee Lauder in creating the 'Pink Ribbon Bracelet'. Katia Dandoulaki, Dimitra Galani, Zeta Makripoulia, Maria Nafpliotou and Ivi Adamou are all joining forces by openly supporting the good cause behind it.

This time around it comes in pink and silver, with a cute velvet touch. At the symbolic price of 10 euros, it will be available at all Estee Lauder selling points from September 27th and throughout October. Profits will go towards supporting the Panhellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer - Alma Zois.

Evangelos Kavathas - A/W 10

With the dates of the next fashion weeks announced, thought I might sizzle the mood. Shots and clip are from Evangelos Kavathas A/W 10 show last March, and since Autumn/Winter 10 is now, so now is this collection.
