This beanie's got a beard

Came across it on Etsy.com, had to post it. Creative genius behind it, user taraduff, mother of three, who according to profile learned to crochet by step grandma while she watched Dallas and Dynasty.

Kids version: super-cute!

Makes you happy + hungry

I've always considered orange to be a defective colour. An imperfect version of red. However it's suddenly grown on me, especially after trying on this one-shoulder top at the recent Two in a Gondola bazaar.

Semiologically, it is meant to increase oxygen supply to the brain as well as mental activity, happiness and enthusiasm (source). It's also supposed to stimulate appetite (source) so do blame this shoot if you feel like killing a bucket of ice-cream right now.

--> re: these shoes, go back here.

cool(er) beach bag

West Coast Cooler has boarded the Greek summer by taking as many fash-bloggers as a Golden Class projection room could fit, for SATC 2. This wine made a point about being inspired by girlie bonds but it's not all about style you can only watch in a movie (and afford in a dream). To put this in a picture, WCC created a beach bag full of colourful summer essentials and had it at our doorstep. It was like the Irish myth about a treasure at the end of a rainbow, only I get to keep the rainbow too. And got something fruity and fat free to toast with. Sweet.

Got bunny ears?

Is it me or is there a growing trend for bunny ear inspired accessories?! I bumped into this cute hat whilst browsing asos.com and came across this pair at LFoF's the other day.

Hold on, wasn't it Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton that gave his blessings to the trend a couple of winter seasons ago?
Whatever, it's fun!

Sooo..! boutique opening party

It was quite a glamorous opening tonight for Katerina Alexandraki's first Sooo..! boutique. Mini cocktails were coming and going, a wave of Athenean celebrities was rubbing shoulders with guests and after the catwalk show, the collection was available to touch and shop. Loud music kept the spirits high outside while inside models and customers were coming in and out of the fitting rooms. This is a quick post of pictures I managed to shoot towards the end of the night. I'm sooo tired right now... proper photo-report & video coming soon!

(Below: Katerina Alexandraki wearing her shoe-fringe, parts of the collection, the limited edition flower pin-hats -I'm wearing one too- and special touches that got my attention).
