Finding this in my inbox the other day reminded me of how I wish I could occasionally be beamed up to the other side of the planet.
"You are invited to see fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger talk with Richard Bradley, Editor-in-Chief of Worth Magazine, about the intriguing business of creating an international fashion brand.
Wednesday, March 3 at 7pm
Florence Gould Hall
55 East 59th Street
New York, NY 10022
Please visit the VIP check in counter and be sure to mention “Tommy Hilfiger Foundation” for your complimentary ticket".
Since beaming is not an option (yet) and NY is about 10 hours away (posting this from Athens, Greece), all I can do is hope for some enlightening reports to share. After all, we are talking about the man who created a brand which reportedly saw a rise by 21% in sales last Summer, when everybody else was facing recession. Da-amn.

Oh, things like that just make me wish I didn't even see the flyer in the first place! This reminded me of a lecture by a famous architect we got to attend when we were on an educational trip to New York with other fellow students. I felt so lucky!
Do you know anyone who will go?
I stand my ground: things like this make me want to be beamed up:)
No, don't know anyone else who went last night thus awaiting official releases :S
