Construction site fashion

The title was a joke between me and friend who shot these photos in Milan the other day. How true though, in that city, even construction sites have to somehow be "dressed" in style. And why not? They are going to sit there all covered in scaffolding, disturbing our view for quite a while. On the other hand, it shouldn't be too hard for advertisers to capture the audience with such a loud antithesis.

It must be in the italian spirit... I just unearthed this picture from back when I visited Venice for the Biennale di Architettura:
Personally, I think covering up historic buildings just for the purpose of advertising, is bad taste. But, in the Milan pics, the ads are prettifying the construction cover-up. So why not?

@ lopi - beautiful shot. u've seen it all before then! let's be honest, the purpose of advertising is, well, advertising! But yes, it has an interesting effect on sites:)
